Katie & Lorenzo -- The Wedding

My dear friend, Katie, asked me to photograph her wedding.  I was honored to have the opportunity.  She and Lorenzo were married last weekend, and it was wonderful and beautiful and everything that a wedding celebration should be.

Rainbow Birthday Party :: Orange County Photographer

Our friends held a double birthday party for their daughters over the weekend.  The theme: RAINBOWS!!  It was so awesome and a lot of fun.

Environmental Portrait :: Orange County Portrait Photographer

I'm taking a Portrait Photography class this term, which I'm super excited about.  It's technically a black and white film class, but the professor is allowing me to use digital.  He said that I'm allowed to turn in color work, but I thought I'd take on the challenge of working completely in black and white for this class.  I love color, but I think working in black and white will really help me focus on composition more.

Our first assignment is an Environmental Portrait.  I haven't decided which ones I'm going to turn in (it may not even be one of these), but I wanted to share some of my favorites.  (The pictures of the runners et al are from the Tinkerbell 1/2 marathon which took place on the morning of Jan. 29.)
