I've always been an "eye" girl. It's often the first thing I notice about a person. So as part of my single light assignment, I focused several pieces around eyes. (I also challenged myself to do some self-portraits. Still a lot to learn.)

Eyes are definitely one of the most important asspects to a good portrait. There is so much that can be said with just the eyes, window to the soul, and all that. :)
